Hi Sabro, the lalique limited edition of Grand Marnier was launched around 1981 and only a very few bottles of it were actually produced, each of them individually numbered and packaged in a customed made Lalique decanter. The Grand Marnier used in those was in fact our oldest cuvée, the 150th anniversary, which as you probably know, is made out of our oldest Cognac X.O The fact of the matter is that the prices of those cuvées Lalique were very expensive not only for their content but mainly for their crystal Lalique decanter and their obvious rarity. Indeed! You must be one of the rare individual to have been able to drink that nectar. I also was lucky enough to put my hand on one of those magnificent decanter...that was a long time ago though. I finished the Grand Marnier inside and kept the Lalique decanter for decoration as it is true that we probably won't have the opportunity to see/taste one of those rarity ever again. I'm glad you liked our Cuvee Cent-Cinquantenaire so much. As a matter of fact, it was the same liqueur that was used to manufacture the Lalique limited edition. Only the bottle was different. The taste is smoother than the regular Cordon Rouge due mainly to the age of the Cognac used to manufacture it (around 50 years old).
